We've decided to extend our stay in the lovely South Florida, we were asked us to stick around an extra day for the Surfer Blood show at Propaganda on Monday 1/31/11. Come hang out if you're around, should be pretty wild! Tonight we play at Churchill's in Miami!
Last night, Carnivores received some more love from the BBC on Gideon Coe's show. He played "Parent's Attic" from the "Dressed For The Rain" Music Mule UK single (also featured on "If I'm Ancient"). Check that out for a limited time on the BBC's website
Tonight we're playing a The Junkyard in Gainesville, FL. Should be interesting, last night consisted of large jugs of beer, someone throwing a poor girls peacoat in a fire, shooting firecrackers at people(not us!), the ultimate warrior in the flesh, a sing a long to "Friends in Low Places", really sweet people from Seattle, and some band covering Refused??
The Chunklet presented show Ted Leo//Gentleman Jesse//Carnivores now officially has a newly rescheduled home. It will remain at the Drunken Unicorn, which makes me smile (drinking at the bar there brings back such a nostalgia for old ATL drunkenness). Except now it will be on 5/11.
**ALL OF THE TICKETS FROM 2/4 WILL BE HONORED AT THE DOOR ON 5/11, SO HOLD ON TO THEM PLEASE**
In other news, Carnivores will be embarking on a tour d' Florida starting Monday evening (1/24) in Jacksonville. The schedule is as follows below:

Whew, a few big things on the horizon to talk about:
* We just confirmed with Davila 666 for a show at the Earl on March 5th, if you haven't heard these guys, they are from Puerto Rico and will tear your face off! Also our pals in The Barreracudas will be playing!
* Following this we'll be leaving on a tour leading to SXSW, but first we'll be visting some of our favorite places to play like Memphis, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Las Cruces! We have some pretty rad SXSW shows and parties lined up too that we'll be announcing very soon....
* Our show with Ted Leo and Gentleman Jesse has been postponed, the reschedule date for Ted's tour will be up soon, we'll let you know as soon as we do!
* Lastly, The Young Fates played their second show last night at the Dashboard Third Exhibition for the Arts! It featured a new line up Dan Wakefield (Ominous Castle), Philip Frobos (Carnivores), Emily Kempf (The Back Pockets), and Frankie Broyles (Balkans). Expect to hear of more shows announced and mp3s to come of this sideshow wonder in 2011.
Carnivores got a considerable amount of love from Creative Loafing in 2010. To show our gratitude, tomorrow(Jan 4th 2011) we'll be premiering out video for "Salts To Mine" on their blog, Crib Notes.
